CELE-BEAR-ATE good times, COME ON!

Hey party people!

Wahoo! Today kicks off our yearlong Friends Count celebration! We’re celebrating over 100 million furry friends made AND our 15^th birthday together – two VERY big accomplishments! But, as you know, Build-A-Bear Workshop celebrates a lot of things all year, every year.

It’s important to celebrate accomplishments, whether they are big or small. There is a Bearism (a bear-ish quote or saying) about celebrating. It goes like this: Big or small, always cele-bear-ate your accomplishments. It means that even though it’s always great to celebrate big things, like graduating or winning the big game, it’s also important to recognize when you do great smaller things, like when you get an A on a test you studied really hard for or practicing piano every day for a month! So while it’s always good to work hard, it’s also good to recognize when you do good things. Enjoy it!

Valentine's Day

Hi everyone,

Valentine’s Day is tomorrow! Do you have a Valentine yet? My dad usually asks me to be his Valentine, and he gets me a little box of chocolates and puts them on my plate at breakfast. They’re my favorite chocolates in the world! Most of them are dark chocolate. But he gets my mom milk chocolates because those are her favorite.

Are you going to do anything at school for Valentine’s Day? My school usually has a little party where we eat cookies and pink juice and pass out our Valentines. I made mine out of all my craft stuff that I already had. Construction paper, glitter glue, markers, stickers, and some are even decoupage (that’s like a kind of clear glaze you paint over things to make them stick together and make them shiny).

CeleBEARation Teddy

What’s up?

I’ve been doing a lot of extra chores lately so I can earn enough money to buy CeleBEARation Teddy when it comes out at Build-A-Bear Workshop next Wed., February 15! Have you seen it yet? I posted a pic so you could know what it looks like. Don’t you just love how unique it is?

This year, there is going to be so much cool stuff going on to celebearate 100 million friends made at Build-A-Bear Workshop! And I love parties, so I’m super excited to see what they’ve got in store.
